Castle to Hanauma Cycling Time Trial
February 28, 2010

It will be the start of cycling season! Time to see if your racing legs are ready! Race against the clock in this 12 mile Time Trial. Cyclists put the pedal to the metal, beginning at Maunawili Elementary School and finishing at the crest of Hanauma Bay Park entrance. Race meeting at 6am race day; First rider starts at 6:30am. Packet pick-up on Saturday February 27 at BOCA HAWAII 12noon to 5:00pm.

Waterfront Triathlon AND 5K Run at Pu’uloa (Formerly the Iroquois Pt Tri)

Ewa Beach, Oahu - Everyone enjoys physical activity and cheering on their friends and family. This is a weekend for the entire family! Let good music and a beautiful setting enhance the experience. Come check out Waterfront at Pu'uloa--you may not want to leave!

Distances:
Run/Walk:  5K (3.1 miles) fast, flat course around the Waterfront at Pu'uloa grounds

Youth Triathlon 6-10 years:  SWIM 100m,  BIKE 5K,  RUN1K
Youth Triathlon 11-14 years:  SWIM 200m,  BIKE 10K,  RUN2K

Adult Triathlon: SWIM 750m, BIKE 13 miles, RUN 3.5 miles


Directions:
From Honolulu: Take H-1 West to the Ewa Exit 5A. Stay on Fort Weaver Road for 3.5 miles. Turn LEFT at the Iroquois/Geiger Road intersection (the Ewa Town Center/Foodland will be on your right). Follow this country road and enjoy the drive past the Naval Magazine. Continue through the entryway and follow signs to the event.

Jaco Rehab/Jamba Juice Lanikai Triathlon

Triathlon in Kailua is back! The 9th Annual Lanikai race will kick off another great year of quality triathlon racing for island athletes to enjoy. This road triathlon tempts the tastes of all levels of athletes. The Lanikai race course is a beautiful, fast, safe course -- Come join this terrific event with its awesome team of race organizers and active sponsors.

Jamba Juice BananaMan 5K Chase and Keiki Fun Run
May (TBA) 2010

Fundraiser for MDA Hawaii and Hawaii Speed and Quickness. The 9th Annual Jamba BananaMan 5K Chase gives participants a chance to chase life size bananas around the beautiful Ala Moana Beach Park and Magic Island. Hawaii's wackiest race seeks 1,200 runners for the 5K and 200 kids (ages 4-12 years) for the Keiki Fun Run around Magic Island. The goal this year is to raise $50,000 for MDA Hawaii and Hawaii Speed and Quickness.

BOCA Hawaii Cycling Stage Race
August (TBA) 2010

Time Cyclists looking to challenge themselves in all areas of racing can display their strengths in the BOCA Hawaii Stage Race. Athletes are encouraged to participate in all three events, but are not required to. Each rider will accumulate points from each race. Highest scoring riders will win prizes.
Day 1 - (first race at 6:30am) OLOMANA ROAD RACE (6:30am: A Race, 15 laps - approx 45 miles / 6:30am: womens race, 10 laps - approx 30 miles / 9:00am: B Race, 12 laps - approx 35miles)
Day 2 - (first rider off at 6:30am) TANTALUS TIME TRIAL (4.5mi)
Day 2 - (first race at 2pm) KAKAAKO PARK CRITERIUM (50 minutes A race, 40 minutes B race, 30 minutes women's race)

Jamba Juice XTERRA MountainMan Triathlon

Kualoa Ranch - Championship Qualifier. Time for MountainMan fun! Swim 750 meters, mountain Bike 20K, and trail run 6K to win your slot. This is outdoor fun at its best! The 12th Annual Jamba Juice Mountainman at Kualoa Ranch is beautiful and challenging. The refreshing swim fronting waters off Chinaman's Hat is followed by an awesome bike and run course into private Kualoa Ranch. Come test your athletic abilities individually or as a relay team while enjoying the beauty of the valley.

Candyland Youth Triathlon

The Candyland Youth Triathlon will be staged entirely within the safe confines of Wet N' Wild Hawaii (formerly Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park) in Kapolei. This is the 8th Annual Youth Sprint Race to be held at the water park. The distances of the Swim, Bike & Run will vary based on the age groups. All competitors will be required to provide their own bike and helmet. This awesome event is a great challenge for kids from 6 – 14 years old. USAT racing age is child’s age as of 12/31/2010.

Dick Evans Memorial Road Race
September 5, 2010

A 112 mile bicycle race around the island of Oahu (Honolulu). The original bicycle race that inspired the bike portion of the Kona Ironman! Post-race awards party at PF Chang's, in the Hokua Tower. Field Limit of 250 riders. Start: Hawaii Kai Park & Ride, Keahole St and Kalanianaole Highway. 5:30am race meeting—race starts right after.

Course: Start in Hawaii Kai (East Honolulu). Controlled police escort as course goes West through Waikiki, downtown Honolulu, past Pearl Harbor and to the bottom of Kunia Road. The race is then officially opened and proceeds to Haleiwa, along the North Shore past Kahuku, through Kaneohe, Kailua, and then Waimanalo (backroads) with finish in Hawaii Kai. Cash + Merchandise prizes. Perpetual trophy recognition for 1st overall. Individual awards for Top 5 Men, Top 3 Women, and 1st Junior. Perpetual Best Team Finish Award (for top 5 men and top 3 women based on placing/points) and medals for top 3 teams. Team with Most Finishers Award. Top of Kunia Hill Climb Award. Four neutral support feed stations along course route (water & sports drink). 8 Hour time limit.

Kailua Beach 10K Run
November (TBA) 2010

Enjoy an early morning challenge in beautiful Kailua. The Kailua Beach 10K Run is a measured 10K course that starts at Kailua Beach Park Pavilion parking lot to Lanikai. Runners continue twice around the Lanikai Loop, returning via the bike path to the Beach Pavilion and the finish line. Random prizes to be drawn after the race, so stick around and enjoy some post-race refreshments before heading off to the beach!
